Admittedly, I haven't had much occasion to use it, though, since I rarely ride at night. But, since local law requires something like this, I don't regret the purchase.The only (super-)mild qualm I have with its design is that the thickness of the silicone makes me wonder how many times it can be removed & remounted before it tears. I dunno, could be this is really a non-issue, though, and I certainly don't stay up nights thinking about it. I recharge it maybe once a month in summer; twice in winter. The silicone cover is a little dingy now, but I don't care. It keeps the 'guts' of the light dry, which keeps the light working. At this point, I don't even bother with other options. I keep a mini light on the bike as a backup, but it never gets used anymore. The light's job is to keep my bike visible to drivers, other cyclists, pedestrians, and so forth. It does this in blink mode by day and steady mode by night and does it well. Its bright white LEDs cut through the gloom and dark of night. The only drawback is that the white 'skin' with no topside shielding means blink mode at night is a non-starter -- it's simply too distracting. If your bike's geometry allows you to mount it on...
