It is supposed to be an opening/closing gripping mechanism but it is brittle, fragile plastic. The instructions are also worthless. They basically say: "Put the front fender on the front of the bike. Now put the rear fender on the rear of the bike." no instructions, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Mighty 700C Road bike Fender Set (Sports) these fenders come with terrible intructions and the rear does not fit without interferring with the chain drive. I could not figure out to mount the rear fender, so I returned them. Very dissapointing, an illustration moght have helped. I am a handy man by trade. |
