I got just one flat tire in the first 1700 miles and then kept it on after it was pretty worn and got two more flats the last 100 miles. It appears to be a very rugged tire. I have the 700x28mm and I've used it on crushed stone trails with no problems and have even gone on some gravel roads without getting any flats. I can't see even the slightest bit of wear on the treads or any gouging on the sidewalls. I do tend to ride in some rugged areas with some crushed lime paths, some rougher gravel and also do a lot of riding along and across train tracks. Chicago streets are also some of the roughest and worst-maintained messes I've ever dealt with so my tires tend to get destroyed in short order. I'm over 200lbs so that doesn't help. These tires just seem to laugh at the abuse so far without so much as a scratch or scar anywhere either on the tread or the sidewall in 500 miles. All this while giving good grip on the road wet or dry. They also seem to do well in the gravel and dirt for a road tread.
