Has a couple of features that make it a bit more handy than usual. The pressure gauge is at the top, very handy and makes it much easier to read. The head that you put on the valve is both presta and shraeder and took me a bit to figure out. The lever lifts up to lock it on, not down as I'm used to, no instructions anywhere to tell you that either.It's easy to pump and pushes a large volume of air, can even fill up mountain bike tires over 2.25" wide to 80+lbs fairly quickly. Definitely no need for an electric pump if you own this thing. Oh and when I bought it, the white was cheaper than the black, has a great finish and I'm happy I bought the white now as it looks very clean and modern something I'm not sure the black one would do. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Crap!, This review is from: Blackburn AirTower 3 Bicycle Floor Pump (Sports) I needed a bike pump for a presta valve so I went to the local bike shop and saw this and a Serfas FP-200. They both looked similar except the Blackburn was half the price so I bought it. It didn't take long before I realized why this one was so cheap. I used it maybe twice and then the pump head stopped blocking air from coming out of the valve hole that was not in use. Basically my tired ended up flatter than it was before because all of the air just came out the schrader hole. I went back to the bike shop and bought the Serfas FP-200. So far I've no trouble out of it and if I do it's got a warranty. I have since heard similar stories about this pump. Take my advise, invest a little more and get a nicer pump that will last, this isn't the one. The hose is also long, which is convenient. And when the pump worked, it was great - powerful and quick. But here's the downside - after one season of use, the pump broke and now air comes out of both holes, so I now have a flat tire on my bike. I stored the pump standing up in a corner, so I took good care of it, but now I am missing a ride (and it is unseasonably beautiful in Chicago right now!) and am feeling cheated by my purchase.I contacted the manufacturer through their web site and they quickly replaced my part free of charge, so I've amended my rating and review to reflect the good and responsive customer service. |
