This review is from: WELLGO Wellgo Mg 1 Magnesium Platform Pedal 9/16'' White (Misc.) I just started mountain biking last year and decided I needed to upgrade my cheap pedals to something more durable. I am not a clipless rider and was looking for sturdy lightweight platforms. These are perfect! Most of the more expensive platform pedals are built more for downhill - as a cross country rider, these give me all the durability I need. They are super light, easy to put on, and the traction is amazing with the pins. Also, the wider platform is giving me a huge increase in energy transfer. If you want a great pair of platforms without breaking the bank, you will not be disappointed with these Wellgo Mg-1s.
