I'd built up the collection piecemeal, and it mainly consisted of various park tools.Regardless, when I set out to replace the tools, I researched options which included going piecemeal again, or buying one of several kits. After doing the math, this kit was the clear winner for value. This stems from the excellent selection of tools, which meant I didn't buy anything I didn't want, and nor did I have to buy many things on top of it. I only replaced one tool, the cable cutter, as the Nashbar one does not crimp ferrules as far as I can tell. I don't have any torx bits on my bikes, so that was the only tool I found useless. The only tools I added were a 4th hand tool, wrenches, and tire leavers, plus various greases and cleaning supplies.
