I worked as a bicycle messenger for many years and this was all that I would ever use on my fat tire bikes. I miss the coffee coloured side wall, but the all black looks gnarly enough for me. I replaced them with the same model, but made in Taiwan. They didn't last 2 years, and I had many more flats from sharp objects before the sidewall gave out. I understand now the tires are made in India and are all black (woohoo!) but I'm not willing to take the chance. I don't imagine they improved the quality by moving the manufacture to India. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Good city tires that can handle some light off roading., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Continental Town & Country Urban Bicycle Tire (Sports) This is the tire that a lot of bikes should be shipped with. There are a lot of people who are not hardcore and don't need the knobbies and if you don't then this tire is an excellent choice. I use my bike mostly in the city and then also go on a couple of chill trails. I don't ride fast on the trails and this provides me enough traction with good rolling resistance. I am not an adrenaline junky, I ride for transportation and these work great for what I do. |
