Being a trials rider, we're finicky with levers and noticed over the years Shimano XTR levers tend to bend over time even without dropping the bike on it. Not sure if it's the design or the type of aluminum they use but I've switched back to Speed Dial 7 and SL for another bike. In either case, the design is great, smooth operation and easy adjustment on the fly. The lever is primarily used for front disc brake running Avid BBDB (older BB7 that works so much better) and 180mm rotor plus organic pads. Amazing combo. Installation is always a breeze and so is installing the cable which slips in seconds. For the price it's well worth it than spending $89+ on XTR levers.

I'm enjoying my new lever, but I had to order a second. It was my fault for not reading it specifically, nor have I ever heard of buying single break levers, but these are levers. So if you need both front and rear brake levers, buy 2.
Other than the that, its great. Position is good and the flexibility of tension adjust is very nice.
