My last cheap resin pedals ripped to shreds from stress, so I opted for a sturdy pedal that won't risk doing the same thing. These were picture perfect replacements, nice and wide to match, as I have a foot that's larger than most (Size 16) and other small pedals cause my clumsy feet to slip around. All in all, a recommended purchase for any pavement pounder. The last pair I bought on Amazon for about the price I paid for this one so I jumped at the chance to put them on my new bike. The little set screws will hold just about any shoe in place and they are very sturdy, free wheeling pedals. Along with that they are wider than most standard pedals and I find them more comfortable on extended runs. The only negative I have, and I don't fault the product for it, is that I only received one and it surprised me because I paid the same amount for two last year. Make sure you know your bolt size - half inch or 9/16ths before you order.
